This is just one of the breathtaking views from the heights, a group of small uninhabited islands on the south coast of Carriacou. The school is the building at the left of where the little bit of road shows.
What appears to be part of an old-growth forest is a total surprise! Nowhere else on Carriacou have we seen such tall old trees.
Looking out over Tyrrel Bay from the heights, Diamond Rock is visible with Grenada just barely showing through the haze.
We couldn't believe the view from the hill above L'Esterre, all the way to Union Island, Mayreau and Canouan. The line of white surf is at Sandy Island where there is great snorkeling.
We can never resist the babies. These little goats are only a couple of days old. Cute, huh?
